Editing Progress

In our last session we added short clips of music at various points in our film; we felt this added to the feeling of suspence and fear we wished to connote. We also recorded the protagonist's soliloquy, which for some unknown reason did not transfer to youtube on our first attempt however was successful on our second attempt. Originally we intended to use music that was farely well known however we were unaware of the copy right laws. Instead we were directed a list of music on the 'Audio Network PLC' website, http://audio.lgfl.org.uk/. However we could not find any music that we felt gave the perfect atmosphere, luckily we descovered a range of sound effects on the apple mac's editing program better suited to the atmosphere of our film.

After finishing our films and uploading them onto youtube, we then watched them as a class giving constructive criticism to eachother. Our class members felt that the phone conversation ended the feeling of tension and suspense; therefore we are thinking of cutting some or all of the phone conversation. We also noticed that the dark red colour of the title's did not show up well on a bigger screen, another thing we need to keep in mind for the final edits.
